  1. Dock or Docken.
    Grows in rich soil. Spread quickly. Hard to kill.
    (1) Cures sting of Nettle. When being applied say:
    "Docken, Docken, go in and take out Nettle, Nettle come out and Docken go in" or "Docken, cure me and I'll cure you" Or "Docken, Docken cure me, nettle sting me" Or "Dock, Dock di take sting out of me".
    (2) Sometimes roots are boiled with milk and given to person with heart trouble.
    Nettle.
    Grows around old houses. Spreads quickly. Hard to kill. Sting in nettle.
    Useful for feeding young turkeys.
    Chicken Weed.
    Grows in tracks of hay.
    Cures swelling.
    Crows Foot.
    Grows along a drain.
    Feeds pigs.
    Dandelion.
    Grows along a hedge.
    Boiled in water taken every morning gives appetite to people who have none.
