    About fifty-six years ago there lived a woman in Mohill who had witch-craft.

    About fifty-six years ago there lived a woman in Mohill who had witch-craft. A certain family churned their milk for over four years but they could never get any butter. When it was about half churned a smell would come on the milk, and you could not stand near the churn.
    At last the man of the house went to the priest and told him the story.
    The priest came to the house and prayed over the churn. Then he said to the man of the house, ''the people that are taking your butter are not very far away.
    At that time there were Station in the country houses. One day the man of the house and the priest were going to a Station.
    When they were passing the house in which in which the woman lived the priest took a bit of dirt off his shoe and threw it towards the house.
