    Another man named Charles McNiffe worked in Edintenny.
    John McTague was the last of these nailers to work at the trade. Foundry nails were introduced into the town some years before this. He had to give it up nail-making for want of work about 1899, and he died a few years later. Bartley Gordon lived till about 1910 but his business as a nailer ceased before McTague died.

  2. Baskets are very useful for carrying eggs.
    There were round baskets and square baskets.
    If these baskets are well cared, they lasted thirty or forty years.
    The person who can make them goes and gets clean osier rods, then peals them well, and boils them for about an hour.
