    After a while the man noticed that the driver was headless. On arriving at his gates which were closed he was about to get out to open them when the coach drove right through and landed him at his own door. The headless man dismounted and assisted him to alight.
    When he got inside his own door he recovered from the terrible fright, and vowed that, never again, no matter who asked him, would he play cards at a such a late hour.

  2. I know a farm of land in Roscommon on which there is a field which can never be tilled. An Englishman bought this farm, and when told by his workmen that this field was haunted, he laughed at them and said ''that they would start ploughing that field
