  1. Hidden Treasure
A man named Spring lived in Miltown. He was very rich and always kept a big number of servants. One day he gathered all his gold and silver and ordered one of them to hide it somewhere in the old Cork Road, bounding Arthur W. Murphy's farm, Ballyurane, Miltown.
After the servant boy had done as he was told, he returned to his master who asked if he had obeyed. As soon as he heard the answer he shot his servant and himself.
The people in the locality dug up several likely places. Several looked for "The Hidden Treasure" but so far it has not been found.
