  1. In Pat Mcquinn's farm there was an Ogham Stone found, some years ago. John Mcquinn got the stone from his brother and he saw some marks on the stone, and he published it in the paper. Many learned men came to try to read the marks, but they all failed. At last, Bishop Greaves, the Protestant Bishop of Limerick, read it. After some time the people of the Museum bought it from Miss Henue, who lived there after John Mcquinn.
