    The girl stole the money in the middle of the night. She had not gone far when she passed a mill.
    ''Throw corn into me'' said the mill. ''I have no time'' said the girl. She went on till she came to a cow. ''Milk me'' said the cow. ''I have no time'' said the girl. She went on till she came to a horse. ''Shoe me'' said the horse, ''I have no time'', said the girl.
    The old woman got up and missed the money so she went after the girl. When the old woman came to the mill she said, ''Mill, mill of mine with the wig with the wag, with the big leathern bag all the money I have earned these long years is gone''. The mill said ''she is gone before you''.
    When she came to the cow she said, ''Cow,
