    Those moonlighting heroes, who, of late made a raid
    Down at Castlefarm in John Curtaynes place,
    They entered the kitchen with masks on their faces
    They boldly demanded firearms.
    With a rifle presented they followed his son
    Right into the parlour in search of a gun.
    When down from the staircase two bullets did come
    Which murdered the widows poor darling.
    A lad in the rank, a dashing young blade,
    With a gallant stout heart which could not be dismayed,
    He leveled his rifle which never betrayed
    And left the could bloodhounds their squealing.
