  1. There is a place near Beaufort called Leaba na bó it is so called because they were a cow seen there. Whenever the people would want to milk her she would be there before them. She would fill any vessel that they would bring for the milk. One day a woman said I will bring a vessel that she wont fill. She brought a strainer to milk the cow and the cow ran away from her and she was never seen since. This was the famous Glas Ghaibhneach that supplied Fionn Mac Cumhaill and his Fianna.
