  1. It is told that there was a man living at Cool called Jerry Sullivan. He was cutting turf one day with other men. There was a big bogdeal root in their way and two or three men tried to lift it, but they could not stir it. Then they digged around it and four men again tried to lift it, but they could not, after a while Jerry Sullivan caught one end of it and lifted it up on the bank.
