the children stand in a row and two are picked out to be the Bad and Good Angels. Then some one gives out "Colours". The Good Angel comes and has three chances to name the colour of a child. If she is right she takes the child with her. That child is called a Good Angel. Then the Devil or Bad Angel comes and the same thing happens. If he names the colour of a child, then the child is called a Devil. This goes on until all the children are gone. Then there is a tug of war between both sides and the game is over.
