  1. It is a custom for children to go barefooted in Summer in this district. There are not many cobblers in this district. In olden times in this district the people used to make thier own shoes with cows hides and calves hides. They used to go barefooted nearly all the year except during the Winter. Long ago in this district the people had cures for sore feet and tired feet and they made the cures themselves.
