  1. No giants live nowadays, but long ago the people said they existed. They were strong, wild looking men.
A giant and his father and mother lived together. The father and mother were growing smaller but the son was getting bigger. One day a woman went in and the saw the son bringing in a sheep and cooking it. He then took out his mother and he washed her face and hands and made her clean and tidy. He did likewise with his father. The woman asked his why did he take out his mother first and he said that his mother had borne him in her arms for nine months.
There is a place in Faghburn and it is supposed there is a giant buried there. Two stones were put standing to mark the spot.
It was supposed to be a giant that formed Lough Neagh when a Scotch giant was trying his strength with him.
