    About this district there is nobody who remembers any marriages taken place in this district outside the church.
    It was a custom for the bride-to-be to wear –

    Something borrowed
    and something blue.
    It was a custom for the man and woman to run away from a friends house. Somebody went then and told the bride-to-be’s father and he went and brought
