    the plate. This was done until they had a pot full of broken potatoes. Then the potatoes were put into a bag and squeezed as dry as possible. The water that was squeezed out of them was left in a pot until the following morning. They used to get as much as starch in the pot as would do their clothes for the whole year round.
    Then they used to get the broken potatoes and mix flour with them to make a dough. Then it was put in a pot to cook. When it was cooked it was of a purple colour. "Candy" was also made in the following manner. The first thing that was done was a certain amount of meal was got and wet with hot water. Then it was neaded. It was then cut into squares, and put on a griddle to bake.
    Easter Sunday was a great feast feast day by the old people. They used to eat a great amount of egg's. These were being gathered for a long time before hand.
