    There was once a hare out in the , and she used to suck all the milk the cows had, so when the people went to milk the cows they had no milk. One morning a man went out to milk his cows and the hare was sucking, so he told all the neighbours about here, and they gathered a band of hounds and followed her. When the hounds were at top of the hill the hare was at the bottom and when she was at the top they were at the bottom, and so on like that till at last the people could not stand her any longer. One day a beggar went into a house looking for alms and they told him their story. He told them if they got a black hound they would catch the hare. So they got the hound and followed the hare. The hare thought she would trick him like the
