    up to the house. When he came in they were cooking [?] the lad inside. "Oh, drink I suppose", says he. "Oh no, indeed, says Mrs Adams but he was out and he saw Adams in the lane". "Yerra, wasn't I talking to him just now and I coming up", says Jeffers.
    Jeffers was down on the Burroughs wan night and wan of the lads went to frighten him. He hid down behind the rocks and "wore" and he started to cry like a bean sidhe. Jeffers passed just by him and heard him. "Oh" says he, "a poor wrecked sailor I'll pull you up when I'm coming back"

    Every time a storm is coming a light is seen...

    Every time a a storm is coming a light is seen out on the ocean at Kilmore. The officer saw it wan night and thought twas a boat in distress and they went out to it. The light kept moving away from them. They had four sets of oars on the boat and they couldn't get up to the 'light'
