- (continued from previous page)He was put in a leaden coffin and placed in a great horse drawn glass hearse. The horses refused to draw the hearse and they would not go next nor near it in spite of all efforts. The men had to take the coffin on their shoulders to Killroran graveyard where it was laid in the family vault.
Diamond was the next to own the castle, then Perju owned it. It is said that Perju and his son haunt the castle, and that any one that passes there at night will see them
Baggot was the last to own the castle. Part of it was burned in 1916, and everything was burned or stolen- Collector
