    The townland of [Bloonart] Co. Longford was owned by two landlords; Captain Mustard owned south bloonart, and Galbraith owned north bloonart. There were several evictions in bloonart. There were two land league houses built in bloonart one built on the meaning of north and south bloonart for Chaisty Cox, bloonart and the other was built on Patrick Alick Mclynn's land in bloonart for John and James Brown. In later years there was a house built for John Killride on Thomas Mcylynn's land, known as "Yank" Mcylynn, bloonart. At the evictions agents, bailiffs and a large force of police, had crow bars and the tenants had fifes, drums, pitch-forks, shovels and stains and the women had basins and tin-cans. In older times bloonart was almost as historic in the land league days as Limerick was at the siege.
    One time Lord Leitrim was going to evict a man who called himself "Brown O' Conboy". "Brown O'Conboy, was a poet, and he said to Lord Leitrim "you are a lame lord, and you're pale in the face, To the whole county Leitrim you are a disgrace, May the Lord of all the lords send a lord in you're place,
