    Fadó ní pósadh aoine ins an t-séípéal. Posadh sa tigthe iad. Bhíodh an sagart ins an tig an pósad an oidche sin. Agus pósadh sé iad roimh breac an lae ar maidin. Tabharfadh cairde an fhir agus na mná púnt nó dá phúnt don sagart ag díol air an pósad. Ní raghadh an fear agus an bean a beadh pósta go dtí aon ái act beadh oidche maith aca. Mhairbhidís cúig nó sé caoire tímceall trí lá roimh an phósadh. Bheadh siad ag rínnce agus ag amhráin ar feadh na h-oidhche.
