    Forts
    There are fairy forts in the school district. They are called fairy forts or caves.
    They are in the townlands of Carrounas Keagh, Carrounaboney, Cappagh, Ballimalley and Rathosey.
    They are circular in shape and are in view of each other.
    People have gone in through these caves.
    The Danes are supposed to have built them and it is considered unlucky to touch them.
    No crops are grown on them. Hay grows on them and this is usually moun-

    Lights were seen around them long ago, and at some of these caves they are still seen.
