  1. There are four forges in the parish.
    Tadg Derrig, Joe Davis, James Dorkin, and Luke Connell.
    Tadg Derrig's forge is about a hundred yards from the station of Leyney.
    They are all situated near a crossroads and a stream.
    The forge is built of stone and cement, it has a wooden roof and canvas on the outside, the door is of an ordinary shape.
    There is a fireplace in it.
    The bellows is made of metal and canvas, the metal part is stuck into the wall behind the fire.
