    Long ago people did not wear any shoes until they were twenty one years.
    The children at present go barefooted in Summer but not all the year round.
    The water that is used for washing the feet is thrown out.
    The shoes were made and repaired locally long ago.
    The clogs were worn long ago and are still worn
    They were also made locally.
    Leather was made in the district long ago.
