Croke Patrick can also be seen on a clear summer's evening fr away in the distance resembling a cock of hay. it is not to be seen only when there is good weather approaching and it is used by the people of this district as a sign of good weather. Some distance from this place is another hill called "Dún Feim." The people of the district say that Finn was on this hill when he visited County Sligo hunting wild animals long ago.
There are also two lakes in this district, and n one goes to them for water. It is said that long ago when some man went for water to the lake wild horses came out of the water to devour him.- Collector
