  1. There are Fairy Forts in the school district. The "Hill" is the name of one of them. "Lhis Mhor" and "Lhis Bheag are the others. Two of them are very near each other and the other one is about three quarters of a mile distant. They rise in a circular hill from the ground. There are no fences of earth or stone about them. At one time there was an entrance hole on the side of them but these have been closed by the owners of the owners of the land. The old people say that in the fort between Kilfree and Doon there is an underground tunnel which extends to the castle of Moygara
