  1. One night a man from Reylaun was on his way home from Ballaghadereen. He was cycling and had to pass through Coolavin Wood. As he was coming along he saw a horse looking over the wall surrounding the demense. He thought it queer at the time but did not matter it a lot then. Another day when he was passing the way in daylight he looked in the place where he saw the horse and he saw that the wall was twenty five feet high there. He never since let the night come on him passing that road.
