- When the people see a star shooting across the sky it is a sign of good weather. When the clouds move across the sky there is going to be a storm. When there is a rainbow in the sky there is going to be thunder and lightning and rain. When there is a storm coming the crows go wild. The crows are a good judge.
- Whenever the sun is high in the sky and it is to be showing a strong heat, it is a sign of good weather. When soot falls a down the chimney it is a good sign of rain. When the sky is white and blue it is a sign of good weather. When the hens run to the house it is the sign of rain. When a seagull flies about the air it is a sign of snow.
