There were no seats in it. The children sat on boards along the wall.
There was a school in James Gunn's barn of Drumhilla long ago. It was a very big barn and crowds of children and big boys and girls came to it from all parts. James Gunn's grandfather was at it and there was only one chair in it.
- There was a school in Francis McPhilliips barn in Tattenclave about one hundred and twenty years ago, till it was moved till another house in Tattenclave. It was in McPhillips barn for sixteen years. It was to James McCarvill's house it went after McPhillips barn in Liscomiskey. It was there fewer years. It was Master Dreenan taught in the school when it was in McPhillips barn till they built the new school in Liscomiskey - that is here at present.(continues on next page)
