One night there was a man crossing Drumeril Hill near Inniskeen, very late from a wake when a big man walked alonside him and asked him to carry him. John said he would not, but soon the big man jumped on his back and wound his legs around him.
They came to a house and John very tired asked him would he go in here, but he said "No, the Rosary is on there."
They came to a second house, and John, more tired, asked him to go in here, but he again said "No, the Rosary is on there, too."
They arrived at a third house, wehn he willingly dismounted and disappeared, saying "I am going in here."
