    Of both young and old.
    He's a true son from the Laune side
    Determined and bold.
    His fine open countenance wearing a smile
    He's loved by all sportsmen for many a mile.
    This is a song composed about
    J.P. OSullivan of Brookhill, Kilgobnet
    Beaufort who belonged to this Parish. He played football and ran and jumped with other young men from the Parish every Sunday. He afterwards became Champion of Ireland.
