  1. In Kilkieran lie the ruins of an old church. In the adjoining graveyard many crosses of curious workmanship may be seen. They are decorated with hieroglyphic, symbolic, and emblematic devices.
    Two hundred paces north of Owing Church there is a Cromlech. The altar piece has fallen from its original attitude and together with its uprights apparently yields to time. Their original attitudes have been discomposed.
    North-west of Moondigna hill another hill another peculiar structure many be observed. It consists of large upright stones place perpendicularly in the earth. They seem to enclose the tomb of
