    2. The cure for a "sty" is the sign of the cross cut in it by a goose-berry thorn.
    3. The cure for the "sting of a wasp" or a bee, or any other insect, is the juice of an onion.
    4. The cure for a "cut" is the leaves of a rag-weed pounded up.
