    laughed, and began to read,
    "Pat Cloney, number one,
    Read this, and then begone
    A police man's look I do disdain
for I have a brand, and a double rein"
One day Pat was passing through The Rower graveyard, and he saw a piece of paper on a grave. he went over to the grave and read what was written on the paper. This is what he read.
"Remember man, as you pass by
Where you are now, so once was I
Where I am now, so will you be
Think on death, and pray for me."
Then Pat took a pencil and wrote under that:-
"To pray for you I have no intent,
For I don't know what road you went."
Pat died when he was about seventy, and he was buried in The Rower graveyard.
