    when made into wine were used for colds. Also the berries were used for dyeing clothes.
    The bark from the Barbary tree boiled in new milk was a cure for Yellow Jaundice.
    Horse Leak boiled in salt and water cured Ring worm. The ivy leaf boiled in new milk taken very moderately was used in driving out the measles.
    Gladden and goose grease sewed together were used for Letreck which is now called Mumps.
    A stocking filled with salt and tied around the neck cured a sore throat.
    A raw potatoe cured a burn.
