- Each year on July 25th there is a pattern held in honour of St. Moling at St. Mullins. Long ago no work was done on that day, and all the people used to assemble and do a pilgrimage.
Once a man named Anthony went with his men to work in the fields on one of these days. At dinner hour his wife who was called "Ramshagh Rua" brought out the dinner to them in an ass and cart. When going into the field she left the ass and cart by the side of the road and brought in the dinner. All the workmen including Anthony sat in a ring to eat their dinner. They were about to begin when St. Moling appeared and said "do you know the day you are working on." Anthony got frightened and ran(continues on next page)- Collector
