    all dug. Then they bring the potatoes into the haggard in a donkey cart.
    They dig a hole and throw the potatoes into it. Then they thatch them with straw and rushes. They put a coat of clay about six inches thick on them. Then they clap the clay with a shovel. They apply another coat of clay and then they are safe against the frost.
