- St. Stephens Day is kept in honour of St. Stephen. St Sthepen was one of the first Martyrs.
One day the soldiers were looking for him. St Stephen went up a tree as the soldiers were passing a wren fluttered out of the tree. One of the soldiers looked up and he saw St. Stephen on the tree. They took him down and stoned him to dath. All the children go around from house to house gathering money with a death wren.(continues on next page)- Collector
