- The most common bread in olden times was not hard made.
First they got some potatoes and boiled them. When they were boiled they were peeled. Then they pounded into a mash with the bottom of some utensil. They then pout salt and pepper on it. It was then flattened in a round shape of a potato-cake and put on a pan(continues on next page)- Collector
