- There is a lake situated about a half mile from our house and it is called the dubhlach.
There are five islands in this lake and they move at intervals.There are three big ones and two small ones.This lake is said to be enchanted and it is very pleasant to be looking at these islands moving on a fine day.There are bog-holes in these islands and there are bog-trees and willows(continues on next page) - Collector
