    The rules for the cutting of the wedding cake that are observed are:
    The Parish priest is supposed to cut the first slice. Then the bridesmaid and best man hold the cake over the bride's and bridegroom's heads and the bride whose hand is directed by the groom cuts the second slice and anyone can finish it.
