- A Sore eye:
A cure for a sore eye is to wash it with black tea.
A Sore Throat:-
If you had a sore throat tie a stocking you wore during the day around it to cure it.
Burned Tongue:-
If a person had a burned tongue an eascú luachra rubbed to it would cure it.
Hiccoughs:-
Drink some cold water and swallow a small piece of ice.
Nose Bleeding:-
Hold back your head and put something cold at the back of the neck or on the bridge of the nose.
Sore Toes:-
If you had a sore toe burn a small piece of paper and rub the ashes to the toes, or put a wet cloth between them.
A Toothache:-
Catch a frog and make the sign of the cross nine times inside in your mouth with him. Another cure is to go in to a graveyard and take a bite of grass three times off a(continues on next page)- Collector
