    The first row then whisper among themselves, and decide upon some player on the opposite side, and again advances, singing:-
    "We'll gather Patsy Murphy for nuts in May, nuts in may, nuts in May.
    We'll gather Patsy Murphy for nuts in May, on a cold and frosty morning".
    The other side then sings advancing as before.
    "And who will you send to fetch him away, fetch him away, fetch him away.
    And who will you send to fetch him away, on a cold and frosty morning".
    The other side then have to decide, privately among themselves which player they will send, and having done so they answer:-
    "We'er sending May Casey to fetch him away, to fetch him away, to fetch him away.
    We'er sending May Casey to fetch him away, on a cold and frosty morning".
    Patsy must then stand on one side of the line and May on the other, each trying to pull the other across. If May wins Patsy has to join her row and the singing
