- 1. Marbles.This game is played by any number of boys, before this game can be played each boy must have one or more marbles. First a hole is made and each player pitches his marble from a certain distance which is called a "dabs." The player whose marble is nearest to the hole is first to pitch off all the marbles.
Any marbles that enter the hole are his. If some of the marbles do not go into the hole the player whose turn is next gives his choice of the marbles to be pitched into the hole by the player and if that marble goes in he gets another chance . But if one marble touches another it is called a "bum" and it causes the player's chance to be finished.
If one player wins tow marbles off another he must give him one marble as a "slake". If a marble goes in a very awkward position for the player to(continues on next page)- Informant
