To make a toy tractor, get a reel, drawing pen, stick and elastic. Cut notches in the reel. Put the elastic through the hole in the reel and pin it on to one side of the reel, put the stick at the other end and fix the elastic on to it. Twist the stick to wind the elastic and place it on the table and it will move forward.
To make a catapult get two strands of rubber about 6 inches long and forked stick and a piece of leather about 3 inches square. Tie one piece of rubber on to each end of the fork with twine and tie the leather on to the other ends of the rubbers. Then place a stone in the leather, hold the fork in one hand and the leather in the other and take aim at an object and pull the rubber then let go and if you are a good shot you have your object smashed in pieces.
