- Stories of Giants.There was once two giants and an argument arose between them. They started boxing and either could not get the better of the other. They agreed to go to Knockfierna and throw rocks from its summit. One giant began, and the rock landed on Monah field in the Parish of Kilcolman, two miles south of Shanagolden, Co.
