    meal boiled in water. It was cooked in a bastible which was the shape of an oven. The people always worked in the morning before the breakfast. They had the breakfast about 9 o' clock. The dinner was taken at 1 o' clock and the supper at half past seven. They always ate their meals around the table in the middle of the floor. They drank out of piggins. Long ago the people who had any piece of land grew wheat, oats, corn and potatoes. The bread was made from sour milk barm and wheat. It was usually wheaten bread that was used. On the top of the cake there was a mark of a cup and saucer, or knife fork and spoon. They used their own killing and fish which came in common cars every Thurs -
