  1. My Home District
    Ballingrane is the town land where I live. It is a fairly big town land, with about twenty families living in it and about 100 people.
    Ballingrane means ‘The town of the Grain’. The most of the houses are slated. There are four or five houses in ruins and three houses unoccupied. The most common name in Ballingrane is ashier and Ruttle.
    The most of the people’s ancestors in Ballingrane came over from England about 200 years ago. They are still called Palatines. It is
