    say, it is the purpose of blessing it. People remember querns to be used in this district. They were large brown round stones, used for crushing corn, when needed for flour. The cake was always baked in a griddle, or losset. It was a round metal vessel, with two handles. Delicate people use it still for cooking meal. The currant cake was generally baked in a pot with three legs.
