  1. There are very few local happenings around out district. Danny Brien, Cappanahana was drowned in the Mulcair river. Anna. There were two burnings in the locality they were both burned accidentally. William Ryan Ashroe whose house took fire from clothes hanging on a line. Mrs Rainsford's house took fire from a fire from a fire in the room and the bed clothes got ignited. The influenza visited the district. There were several people sick but only one death.
