- Severe Weather
There was very severe weather in the year 1932 about the month of February. There was a terrible heavy snow and alot of sheep and cattle were smothered. Account of the big wind in 1839, The roads were blocked with trees and alot of damage done to houses and animals.There was a great snow storm in April 1912. The snow was eight feet high in places. It smothered stock and there was a funeral in the district and they had to shovel the snow off the roads to get to the graveyard. There were no lives lost here but there were far away.- Informant
